ABOUT

Emerging from the Nashville music scene, singer-songwriter Natasha Blaine’s groovy sound fuses elements of neo-soul, pop, and R&B. Originally from a suburb of Seattle, WA, she became mesmerized with singing at a very young age, especially drawn to jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald. She started singing at every opportunity she could, beginning to accompany herself on guitar before age 10 by learning her favorite Beatles songs. This obsession with music blossomed into a passion that eventually landed her in Nashville at age 20 to make it a career.

Blaine and her band have toured nationally in addition to playing all over Nashville at venues like 3rd & Lindsley and The Analog. She has been blessed to play with her backing band for the past three years, crediting her songs’ arrangements and their sophisticated musicality to collaboration with the band. Blaine and her group’s signature sound draws inspiration from their jazz backgrounds as well as artists like D’Angelo, Amy Winehouse, and Jill Scott. The band will be back on the road in 2024, planning to tour more and release lots of new music.

"Armed with a distinct and commanding vocal tone and an equally energetic live performance style, the singer is come to be at the forefront of the next rated artist to come out of Nashville."

- Tayo Odutola, EARMILK

“Old Habits” is a multi-layered masterpiece. It’s hallmarked by one of the tastiest bass lines we’ve heard in recent memory, courtesy of Moe Suave. Funky flute riffs from flautist Jeff Coffin weave in and out of the soundscape, in between tasteful Colin Wells’ guitar licks and glistening BGVs."
